That through each photograph is a story - the story that led up to the picture being taken, the people you were with, the emotions you felt, whether joy or sorrow, and the story that followed soon after. It reminds of a time, a time that I could&#8217;ve easily forgotten. Because I want to remember every single little moment. </p> <p>Budapest 2012 - One of the most traumatic, horrible experiences that has happened to me. And yet looking back, I can only think of how at awe I was to be in a city of such historic value. Of almost bursting in tears at the beauty of the architecture and of what happened there, at the very spot where I&#8217;m standing, almost a century ago. Of the conversation I shared over great food with a great friend. Of feeling truly blessed. The National History Museum, a five minute walk from where I live, is indescribably magnificent in every way. It&#8217;s not only kid-friendly, but has just the right amount of interactive exhibits where any age group could simply immerse him or herself in the museum for an entire afternoon. The Victorian architecture itself is something to be in awe of, while the dozens of exhibits such as the famous dinosaur and Darwin collection are ones not to be missed. For those who aren&#8217;t usually fond of museums, I&#8217;m almost completely sure you&#8217;d have a change of mind. Going to the Borough Market and seeing each vendor so passionately introducing their proud work, and the lines of people that await for that one amazing dish, is truly a sight to be seen. Despite the fact that the cold nearly ate me up, I was quickly warmed by the sweet aroma of the foods that surround me. Organic, fresh, homemade. What could make this better? Sadly my camera ran out of battery half way through, but no worries, we&#8217;re planning to go back very soon! It&#8217;s really been a favorite of mine so far and you truly have to be there to experience it. I bought home my absolute favorite - chocolate raisins where the chocolate is not too sweet but just enough.</p> <p><img src="http://media.tumblr.com/tumblr_lyjfico04D1qdyhet.jpg"/></p> <p>Vegan paradise such as avocado salad - I&#8217;m drawn to anything avocado really. But everything else seriously looks so good.</p> <p><img src="http://media.tumblr.com/tumblr_lyjft7VAEz1qdyhet.jpg"/></p> <p>Roasted cheese that were put on baked potatoes or in a sandwich. Possibly the longest line but how could you resist?!</p> <p><img src="http://media.tumblr.com/tumblr_lyjgb32cFr1qdyhet.jpg"/></p> <p>Huge meringues! My friend got a raspberry one and it was quick to melt in your mouth. Mmm.</p> <p><img src="http://media.tumblr.com/tumblr_lyjfyjrxxc1qdyhet.jpg"/></p> <p>If you don&#8217;t try anything, try this. Seriously the best drink I&#8217;ve had - the natural sweetness of the pear and apple and this elderflower stuff is indescribable and was a life savor through this searing cold.</p> <p>Tons more but my camera was a no-helper. But being in London, in Europe, I think I&#8217;ll have to start getting into the habit! If everything in the world didn&#8217;t matter, if it wasn&#8217;t realistic, I&#8217;d be a history major - a subject I&#8217;m most passionate about that words can&#8217;t even describe. I remember studying European History in 7th grade, going to England/France/Italy/Switzerland, being in those historic places that we studied in class, and bursting in tears, mesmerized and overwhelmed by the history that surrounds me. Because it reminded me of something that struck home, something that I always tend to forget: we get so caught up in the midst of the expectations of our parents, peers, and the world, that we lose sight of what we’re truly passionate about. I have a dream - whether I have the guts to pursue it or not, I have no idea. But I know that each of you have a dream of who you want to be and what you want to do.
